Primavera

2000 ton Italian steamboat, that sank in 1902, wreck at 22 meters, with visibility average 12/15 meters and low degree of difficulty. Sighting of gilthead bream, sea breams, octopuses and sometimes snapper.

Furado Grande

The dive in Furado Grande and Cova do Sonho starts at the Lagosteira cave with a depth of 10 meters, then passes to the Furado Grande, with a depth of 8 meters. This gives access from the south side of the island to the Cova do Sonho, which in its deepest part is 12 meters. With good visibility, without difficulty but with care due to the boats that pass on the surface to go to Cova do Sonho. Sighting of sea breams, octopuses, and small sea bass, among others.

Cova do Sonho ou Sono

The dive in Furado Grande and Cova do Sonho starts at the Lagosteira cave with a depth of 10 meters, then passes to the Furado Grande, with a depth of 8 meters. Rinchão

Wreck of the Gomes VII, a Portuguese steamboat, which traveled from Porto to Lisbon in 1899 crashing in the seamount. The main part is at +/- 25 meters with the bottom at 38 meters. The average visibility is 10/12 meters and has an average degree of difficulty attending to the current and depth. Sometimes a potato bass appears and in the summer the pelagics make their presence be felt.

Vapor do Trigo

Greek steamboat under the name Andreos, that sank in 1926. Wrecks at 27 meters, with average visibility 12/15 meters and degree of average difficulty with current always present; Place of election of the moonfish, sometimes a potato bass makes an appearance.

Baixa do Broeiro

At Estelas, with a wreck at 37 meters of Maroudi Inglessi that sank in 1921, at around 20 meters a deck, where we see the great sea bass around us, and sometimes pelagic, with an average visibility around 15 meters, attending to the depth and the current, it’s considered a dive of high difficulty.

Baixa do Filho do Grilhão

In terms of sea life, one of the best dives, huge sea bass, snappers, sea breams, octopuses, big canyons and holes. Average visibility of 15 meters with 25 metres depth, due to current, high difficulty diving.

Sapho

Greek freighter that sank in 1932, with wreckage up to 32 meters. Average visibility of 12 meters, diving with high degree of difficulty.

Rabo de Asno

The Rabo de Asno cave with a hidden entrance at 27 meters and that descends to 32 mt. It has a spectacular wall of gorgonians and lots of life inside it. Average visibility of 15/20 mt with degree of difficulty inherent in diving in caves.

Highland Hope

English steamboat that sank in 1930, with wreckage between 22 and 3 meters with average visibility of 12/15 meters. Given the location, it is only possible to dive when the sea conditions are very good which makes the dive low in difficulty. Near the French steamboat Henri Mori that sank in 1931.

Baixa do Homem

Shoals of sea bass, and large breams, and sometimes at 22 meters a potato bass makes its appearance, with average visibility of 12 / 15mt, and average degree of difficulty even with reasonable sea conditions. Relatively close to Rio Grande, 1947 Panamanian and El Dorado, English in 1985.

Rio Grande

Recent wreck of Panamanian steamboat that sank in 1947, still compact and with a lot of life, and average degree of difficulty, even with good sea conditions, very exposed zone.
